Girasol Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Agreement”) outline the terms and conditions by which you may access and use the Girasol.fun website and any associated subdomains (the “Website”). Girasol.fun is owned and operated by BattleBoosters OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. By accessing or using the Website, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety. If you do not agree, you are not authorized to access or use the Website.
Introduction
The Website provides access to a decentralized protocol that allows users to participate in blockchain-based prediction games. Users can make predictions on the outcomes of asset prices or other supported metrics through the protocol (the “Services”). You must use a compatible non-custodial wallet to interact with the Services. Girasol.fun also provides backend services that manage the creation, resolution, and facilitation of prediction rounds by communicating directly with the Girasol protocol smart contract. By connecting your wallet to the Website, you agree to this Agreement.
Modification of this Agreement
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting, and the “Last Updated” date will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Website confirms your acceptance of these changes. If you disagree with any modifications, you must stop using the Website immediately.
Eligibility
To use the Website, you must:
  • Be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • Have the authority to agree to this Agreement on behalf of yourself or any entity you represent.
  • Not be subject to economic or trade sanctions or located in restricted jurisdictions.
  • Ensure that your use of the Website complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Services Provided
    The Website provides:
  • An interface for users to interact with the Girasol protocol.
  • Backend services that create and resolve prediction rounds on the Girasol protocol smart contract.
  • A frontend mechanism to allow users to build and sign transactions via their non-custodial wallets.
    • By using the Website, you acknowledge that blockchain transactions are irreversible, and you bear full responsibility for any actions initiated through your wallet. Additionally, Girasol.fun’s backend services operate to facilitate protocol functions but do not take custody of user funds.
    Protocol Control and Updates
    While the Girasol protocol is deployed on a decentralized blockchain, BattleBoosters OÜ retains the ability to update or modify the smart contract to improve functionality, address vulnerabilities, or comply with legal requirements. Any updates or modifications will be made transparently, and users will be notified in advance where feasible. By using the protocol, you acknowledge and agree to this level of control and understand that such updates may impact the protocol’s operation.
    Decentralized Protocol Disclaimer
    The Girasol protocol is decentralized, and interactions with the protocol are executed directly on the blockchain. Girasol.fun serves as an interface to the protocol and does not have custody or control over any blockchain transactions initiated by users. By using the Website, you acknowledge and agree that all blockchain transactions are irreversible and that the decentralized nature of the protocol limits the liability of BattleBoosters OÜ to the Website and its services only.
    Assumption of Risk
    Users acknowledge and accept the risks associated with blockchain technology, including but not limited to:
  • Volatility in digital asset prices.
  • Irreversible blockchain transactions.
  • Potential loss of funds due to incorrect predictions or technical issues.
  • Reliance on Girasol.fun’s backend services for round creation and resolution.
    • Oracle Services
    The Girasol protocol relies on third-party oracle services, including but not limited to Pyth and Switchboard, to provide price feed data necessary for prediction rounds. These oracle services operate independently and are responsible for delivering accurate and timely data.

    While Girasol.fun integrates these services to ensure fair and reliable predictions, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data provided by these oracles. Users acknowledge and accept that:
  • Discrepancies or delays in price feed data may occur due to technical issues or other factors beyond our control.
  • Any inaccuracies in oracle-provided data may affect the resolution of prediction rounds.
  • BattleBoosters OÜ is not liable for losses or damages arising from reliance on third-party oracle services.
    • Limitation of Liability
    Under no circumstances shall BattleBoosters OÜ or its affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Website or protocol. Users acknowledge that updates to the protocol may alter its functionality, and they assume all associated risks.
    Entire Agreement
    This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and BattleBoosters OÜ regarding your use of the Website and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
